What to Expect from Advanced Canine Development Board and Train Programs

 BEFORE:

  • Our consultation will assess the environment, relationship dynamics, wellness, skills, and/or behaviors of your dog to ensure we are a good match for your needs.
  • Together, we will set fair and positive goals for you and your dog, based on your dog’s behavioral needs and your desired results;
  • Our training staff will recommend the most effective training program to achieve those goals.

DURING:

  • Our program will provide your dog with one-on-one sessions, many times throughout each day, focusing on socialization, obedience and manners, proper communication, focus, and distractions, through positive training and behavior modification.
  • Our trainers will send you several messages, photos, and instructional videos to include you in the training process. This keeps you up-to-date and allows us to share new information about your dog’s training, learning style, and progress/achievements toward training goals.
  • Training staff will track your dog’s progress and adjust the training plan as needed to ensure your dog is successful in meeting the training goals.
  • We will set up in-person sessions to help transfer the new behaviors to you and your family. This helps you learn to incorporate your dog’s new skills into your daily lives (the number of in-person sessions required is determined by the trainer on a case-by-case basis).

AFTER:

  • You will have the tools you need to maintain your dog’s behavioral wellness and newly acquired skills at home and in your daily lives.
  • Your dog will be eligible for our Board and Maintain program. (Only dogs who have completed our 2+ or 3+ week board and train programs have lifelong access to board and maintain.) Board and maintain gives your dog the opportunity to refresh their skills or learn new ones while giving you the comfort of knowing your dog is well cared for in a safe and stimulating environment. During board and maintain stays, your dog receives two walks, two training sessions, and two playtimes (weather permitting) per day.
  • You and your dog will also be eligible to join our Elite Canine Club which gives your dog access to a number of services a-la-cart or during their board and maintain stay with us.
